Appearance and Reading
Open Settings → Appearance for theme, accent color, font, text size, and when conversations are marked read. Press ⌘/Ctrl + d to switch light and dark mode. Appearance settings stay on each computer.
Enlarge Email
Email Zoom enlarges email text, images, and spacing together. Minimum Email Font Size raises only smaller text before zoom is applied. It can change line breaks and layout; text inside images is unchanged. Start with zoom if you want to preserve the sender's proportions.
Adjust Email Colors and Images
Email Text Colors can improve hard-to-read sender colors or replace them with theme colors. Remote images remain controlled separately by Privacy settings. Loading an image will not make text inside it respond to font-size settings.
Move Without a Mouse
Use ⌘/Ctrl + k for commands and ? for shortcuts. Single-letter shortcuts apply outside editing fields. F6 moves between the composer and its side panel. Standard editing shortcuts keep their text-editing behavior inside fields.
Choose Your Starting View
Start With can open Today when the app starts. Otherwise ThreeStrands remembers the workspace you last used. Today needs a connected calendar only for its agenda; mail and tasks work without one.
