    Read and Organize

First connect a mail account. Open Mail in the sidebar or press 1. Select a conversation to read it. Press j and k to move between conversations when no text field has focus.

    1. Open a conversation you have finished with.
    2. Choose Archive, or press e. Archiving removes it from Inbox but keeps it in your mail account.
    3. Click Undo in the notice if you archived the wrong conversation. You can also find it in All Mail.

    Reply and Keep a Draft

    1. Choose Reply on a message, or press r.
    2. Write your reply. Check From when you have several accounts.
    3. Press Escape to close and keep the draft, or choose Send when ready.

Drafts save automatically; Writing Mail explains provider Drafts and conflict choices. A normal send has a ten-second Undo Send window.

    Keep a Follow-up

Open a conversation and choose + Add task in its Tasks section, or press d. Choose an Action, Follow Up, or Waiting for Reply. Find it again in Tasks, or press 3. Tasks are separate from archived mail: archiving a conversation does not finish its task.

    Find Your Way Back

Open Today, or press 0, for your agenda, unread mail, and open tasks. Calendar connection is optional and separate from mail. AI is also optional; neither is needed to read, write, search, or create tasks.

Open the command palette with ⌘/Ctrl + k to find actions, including Help and Documentation. The Getting Started checklist can be reopened there.
